Hi Wanda,
The bird is an exotic finch, I think a member of the genus Serinus. It may be an avicultural morph of the Common Canary (Serinus serinus), but I can't be sure. I can't tell from the photos whether there is any black in the plumage or whether it's an all-yellow bird partially in shadow. That plus the possibility of an avicultural (i.e., "man-made") color morph may prevent specific identification.
