This morning at about 9:30 A.M. I observed a Western Spindalis along the eastern edge of the cemetery in the trees along the water. The bird was in a tree just right of a gray mosoleum with the family name Turchin.
After viewing it for about 5 minutes it flew to some trees along the western border of th cemetery. I was never able to relocate it.
Two years ago thier was a Spindalis that stayed around for several weeks at this location. Hopefully this bird will do the same.
