Hey birders, fall migration has certantly started. Today I found two female redstarts and 5 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers in my backyard and neighborhood. Also found 5 Hill Mynas in my big ficus tree. Also there were two Spot-breasted Orioles. When I pished today for the warblers I got a female red-winged blackbird 2 feet away from me! Also common grackles, mockingbirds blue jays, etc. The pishing really works alot for warblers. I can't wait. only one more day till Acadia. Great birding!
