The wife gave me the go-ahead, so I spent the morning at several Palm Beach County locations....

Delray Oaks Natural Area: yellowthroat warbler, blk&wht, prairie, n. parula, yellowrump, blue-headed vireo, house wrens. gopher tortise. The parking lot was very birdy

Yamato Scrub: 6 green wing teal, gr. yellowlegs, osprey on the nest, a very fast skink.

FAU Boca Campus: NO burrowing owls!!! I have missed them on my past 3 visits. Does anyone have an update on their status?

Daggerwing Nature Center: VERY dry. VERY quiet(although it was mid-afternoon) But I did find an obvious egret kill-site. Feathers everywhere. I wonder what got 'em? The Center had a large number of visitors, all enjoying the great, new exhibits.
