It is interesting that all the Scarlet Ibis introduced here readily hybridized, while those in Venezuela seem to remain separate for the most part. White Ibis and Scarlet Ibis on the northern Venezuelan coast coexist. I'm sure hybrids do occur, but the two ibis, for the most part, remain visually distinct.
