This report is from 2001 RBA I believe, but it describes the area where the Ibis was being seen during that time. Maybe it still frequents the area, Good Luck!
At Fort Myers Beach, a TROPICAL/COUCH S KINGBIRD and a WESTERN TANAGER
(female/immature type) have been seen in the neighborhood adjacent to an
evening White Ibis roost/staging area that includes a Scarlet Ibis of
unknown origin. After entering the north end of Fort Myers Beach using San
Carlos Blvd (Rt 865), take a left and go south on Estero Blvd. After 3
miles prepare to take a left turn on Lanarc Terrace. When the street
quickly ends in a Y , take the right fork called Indian Bayou. There are a
few areas on the side of the road to park. Alternatively, you may take the
next left beyond Lanarc Terrace into the Church of the Ascension, where
permission has been given to park if church functions or mass are not taking
place. Use the spots farthest away from the church. From the parking lot,
you may walk through the back of the grounds (north-west corner) through the
bricked path in the Grotto and you will exit the fenced church-yard through
an opening onto Indian Bayou near the corner of Lanarc. The
Tropical/Couch s Kingbird has been seen in the Oak trees between the third,
fourth, and fifth houses on the right side of Indian Bayou. You will see the
pond behind these houses. It has also been seen in the adjacent
neighborhood by back tracking to Lauder and taking a right on Dundee. It
has been found perched and fly catching on both sides of the street on
Dundee. The Western Tanager was seen at 180 Dundee (on the left) and also
on the street to the left of Dundee.
To reach the Scarlet Ibis viewing location, which often arrives around 4:00
PM, walk back through to Estero Blvd and take the first left past the
Church, Mound Road, fork left on Widgeon Terrace, and left onto Bay Village
drive. This is an easy walk from the Indian Bayou neighborhood. Do not
attempt to walk along the water s edge as it is fenced off into the pond on
the far side.

A pink-colored white ibis/scarlet ibis hybrid is at Leisure Lake Park this morning. The address of the park is 29305 Illinois Road in Leisure City (east of US1). Look for it feeding with white ibis in the lawn of the park next to the lake.
Good Luck
