In April 2002 I saw a pink white ibis at the eco pond in ENP. At first thought is was a Roseate Spoonbill flying with White ibis until it turned and I saw the Ibis bill. The color was of a mature Roseate Spoonbill. A ranger said it was probably a cross with a zoo-bred scarlet ibis. One of the storms/hurricanes had released some from a zoo - according to the ranger.
