Not being a big fan of small brown birds, I was, nevertheless interested to read the linked article from the website of my alma mater, Williams College, about savannah sparrow vocalizations and "cultural coalitions", especially in light of my own experience observing manakin and c-of the rock leks.(TAS filter blocks a word sounding like rock)I thought that perhaps some other TAS birdboard readers might be interested...Sorry if the article offends creationists....
