I went to Barnes this morning arriving about 9am. It was very birdy in the hammock near the old Butterfly Garden. It was cool and there was a breeze but it wasn't so windy that birding was difficult. I only birded the main hammock and the parking lot from the car.
Here's the List:
Cedar Waxwings 12
Summer Tanager 2
Scarlet Tanager 1
White-eyed Vireo 1
Blue-headed Vireo 2
Wilson's Warbler 1
Northern Parula 4
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Prairie Warbler 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler 15
Pine Warbler 4
Magnolia Warbler 1
Palm Warbler 2
Black and White Warbler 3
Black-throated Green Warbler 1
Tennessee 1 (pretty sure not a great look, but white under-tail)
Spring Migration is beginning....
I notice quite a bit of movement of birds coming off Cuba and a lot of birds in South Florida moving north Saturday night on the radar.
