Raul and I went up to the Sod Farms as well today. While we didn't get to see the Upland Sandpipers (even though we looked), the not-so-flooded field about one mile north of the tower still yielded great looks of at least one PECTORAL SANDPIPER. About one mile west of the 827 turn-off, 2 BLACK TERNS flew over and a GULL-BILLED TERN was resting on a dry patch in the flooded field on the south side. A little further down the road, there were 10+ SWALLOWTAIL KITES circling right above us.
