About 9:30-10:30 this morning:
Bell's vireo; long looks on both sides of the trail about 50 feet before the boardwalk.
cedar waxwings (25-30)
northern flickers (2) both on the same branch at times
pileated woodpeckers (2) often hanging on slender branches eating fruit
red-bellied woodpeckers (3-4)
male kestrel: both he and she can be found at the top of a dead tree on the south side of the woods, across from the canal.
purple martins overhead
prairie warbler
several other warblers heard only
