N. Flicker at Green Cay, PBC, Waxwings galore

Something different! I hadn't seen one in years, but one very obvious Flicker today at Green Cay. It even gave its strange call as it flew off, well out of camera range ;(

In Deerfield we have been blessed with two flocks of Cedar Waxwings that show up and merge at 5:45 every night at the very top of a nearby tree. I have seen them flying overhead, but it isn't easy to find where they go during the day, or at night, for that matter. I guess Spring Migration is underway ...
