I guess I will add to the gruesome hawk stories. Saw a Cooper's catch a female boat-tailed grackle at University of Miami and ate it while student's ooohd and aaahd in delight and disgust. Also at work once had a Sharp-Shinned Hawk catch a Collared Dove of its same size and slowly plucked and ate it while co-workers reacted in the same manner as the UM students.
