My new Vector Stokes DLS 8x42 binoculars arrived by UPS yesterday and they exceeded my expectations. The clarity is phenomenal, they focus quickly, and they fit in your hands very nicely. Also, they focus at 5' too, so they're great for butterflies and dragonflies too.
They come with a neck strap and a harness strap, plus a case and lens cleaner. They list (MSRP) anywhere from $1009 to $879, but Eagle Optics has them on sale (Birder's Stimulus Package) for $499.99. If you're looking for some seriously good binoculars, I highly recommend them, and you can't beat the price! Paul Bithorn likes his too!
