The Smooth-billed Ani's were found across the canal in the open field north of Old Griffin Road. It was close to the cut out cove area north of the canal. One bird was posted on a low dead branch, while the other bird quickly disappeared into the dead grass, not to be seen again within 10 minutes. This is the second time in recent days they have been reported in the field. Make sure you check there, besides by the warehouse and Perimeter Road.
