Wed. we trecked to Cutler Wetlands from Boca, arriving at 7:10 AM and finding the gulls flying. They started landing about 8 an progressed to a flock of maybe 100 by the time we had to leave at 9:45. No black-headed, or franklins gulls, but we did see a lesser black-backed an some herring gulls.
Above us on the wires near the chain link enclosure was the yellow-hwaded blackbird, hanging out with brown-headerd cow birds, grackles, & starlings.
We also didn't see the caracara or tropical kingbird on our quick pass by the Marsh Dump.
