Cape Florida: Caribbean migrants

I only did half of my usual survey route today but within that short segment I counted 45 Northern Parulas. Other evidence of new Caribbean migrants: Common Yellowthroat (22), American Redstart (2), White-eyed Vireo (2) and White-crowned Pigeon (2). The wintering passerines are still on territory, including 3 Magnolia Warblers and 92 Gray Catbirds, which are becoming disorderly. A FOS Merlin kept things quiet on the south end of the trail.
