There are about two or three dozen Egyptian Geese living at Crandon Gardens, so they seem to be doing very well. These are most likely the same birds being seen at Crandon Beach and probably also the pairs I've seen commuting over Virginia Key.
They also seem to be doing very well in the Pembroke Pines area, from what I've been told.
