Yes, but I know that bird well. Usually has dark trailing edge of primaries (below) anad somewhat mottled appearance (wedges/carpel bar) above. This bird was pale. Only black was on crown. It had no mask, but a black nape, upper face, crown, and forehead. Most unusual in February.

Sibley shows "non-breeding" roseate with some white on front of face. I saw only black but could have overlooked a pale area around upper mandible.

Sibley also shows red legs, but dark legs in February would make sense.
