Casual birding on University of Miami campus on sunday produced some nice birds. There were as many as 7 Macaws in one tree just as we started. there were also all the expected water birds in and around the lake. warblers included:

Northern Parula 2
Prairie many
Black Throated Blue 1
Redstart 2
Palm warblers many
Black and white 2
yellow rumped many

We also had 2 ruby throated hummingbirds, one in the arboretum and another outsude the wellness centre. A nice find was a Summer Tanager in the trees outside Hecht and Stanford residential colleges just where the lake becomes the canal in the corner.
