I visited Mrazek Pond last Wednesday (2/11) and saw:
Great blue heron
Little blue heron
Louisiana heron
Great egret
Snowy egret
Cattle egret
Black-crowned night-heron
Yellow-crowned night-heron
Wood stork
Roseate spoonbill (LOTS of them!)
Lesser yellowlegs
Belted kingfisher
Brown pelican
Laughing gull
Pied-billed grebe
Double-crested cormorant
American anhinga
Common pintail
Northern shoveler
Blue-winged teal
American coot
Common gallinule
Fun was had by ME!! The place was hopping!
Also, warblers were running amok around the Pa-Hay-Okee overlook.
