A similar bird was seen at Hoechoka Hammock, North Coral Springs five days ago. Very white breast and when it wheeled in flight with its underside facing us the tail was a very red color with the morning sun shining on it. I've see many a red tailed hawk in Yellowstone and this had a distinctive red tail coloration. I couldn't believe it would be one down this far south. Maybe it was.
