This afternoon at 2:30 three visiting birders and I looked unsuccessfully for the Anis for half an hour at the 800 building and surrounding neighborhood. We then visited the Great Cormorant at John U. Lloyd and had a ten-minute telescope view after which the bird flew off and was still away when we left fifteen minutes later. We then went to Evergreen Cemetery where there were a couple of Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers and, among the many Palms and Yellow-rumpeds, one B&W and one interesting warbler that appeared to us to be a first-year female Magnolia (I was able to get only one medicocre photo). Ar 4:45 we tried again for the Anis at the 800 Building neighborhood, again with no success.
