I stopped at Cutler Wetland this morning and looked through the gulls hoping to see the Black-headed Gull... On my third scan, I was a gull with the ear patch and got excited, but the bird was smaller than the Laughing gulls it was with and the bill was black. The gull was too far away in the densest section of gulls, so no photo.
There were about 1200 gulls to search through at least twice the number of gulls that were present yesterday.
