From my office in Brickell Key, I have the luxury of watching a Peregrine hunt pigeons frequently. I was suprised the other day when it looked as if it was carrying nesting material in its talons. The bird can be seen daily perching on and flying around the top of the Mandarin Oriental building.
My question for everyone is how out of wac would it be to have a Peregrine nesting down here? I know they have expanded their breeding range in many cities. I'll continue to keep an eye out and encourage others to do so as well.
