A sustained bout of skipping work today produced the following at Barnes:
Blue-headed vireo
Blue-gray gnatcatcher
E. Phoebe
Summer Tanager
Black-and-white warbler
Yellow-throated warbler
Black-throated green
Yellow-rumped warbler
N. parula
Wilson's warbler (f)
Black-throated blue
Am. redstart (was hanging with the BTBs, Magnolia and Wilson's)
Magnolia warbler
Pine warbler
Palm warbler
Prairie warbler
I was also treated to a flock of 60-70 Cedar waxwings (lifers for me) that hung out near the restrooms for a good 30 minutes. They made frequent forays from one of the pines to a nearby ficus, where I snapped this photo.
