Briefly visited Peaceful Waters Wetland Park in Wellington on Sunday. The place was lousy with palm warblers and tree swallows and their were plenty of blue wing teal in the deeper ponds near the water treatment facility. One rough-winged mixed with the swallows. A few green-wing mixed with the teal. Some savannah sparrows in the drier/grassier spots. No surprises--except for the flyover sandhill cranes.
