I stopped at the small park just south of Deering Estate on Old Cutler to look out on the water and hoped for some good birds.
I wasn't disappointed.
Double Crested Cormorant (50+)
White Ibis (50+)
Horned Grebe (2)
Red-breasted Merganser (3)
Northern Gannet (2)
Forster's Tern
Royal Tern
Possible (Bonaparte s Gull)
Ring-billed Gull (15)
Laughing Gull (20)
Spotted Sandpiper
Reddish Egret
Great Egret (5)
Cattle Egret (10)
Snowy Egret (3)
Great Blue Heron (2)
Black Crowned Night Heron
Most were flybys or needed a scope to see, but not a bad list from a short look out over the bay.
