That depends on where exactly in SW Florida you are referring to. If it's Collier County, and outside of the rural areas around Immokalee i.e. Naples and vicinity, yes, it is rare. If in Lee County, again, outside of rural areas such as Alva, it is rare. So, to answer your question, White-winged Doves in SW Florida are found in very localized areas and outside of those areas, they are rare. Where have you seen White-winged Dove in SW Florida?
