Annex and Royal Palm

This morning at the Annex, I had the following birds of note:
Bell's Vireo, Orange-crowned Warbler, Least Flycatcher. There was other more common stuff around including Merlin, Sharp-shinned Hawk, American Goldfinch.

At the park on the S. side of 9336 just before the entrance to Everglades N.P. there was a Brown Thrasher.

I walked the old Ingraham Highway west(?) from the Gumbo Limbo trail. There was a very vocal Brown-crested Flycatcher maybe 300 yards in. Please note that there are several Great-crested Flycatchers in the area as well. I also had 3 Cedar Waxwings and good numbers of wintering warblers including a single Magnolia and Black-throated Blue.

The yellow-rumps are back in attack mode with swarms of them around after taking what seemed like a hiatus earlier in the winter.
