Finally, something decent on the water. I've checked several areas recently without much luck, but got thrown a bone this afternoon. From the canoe launch off Old Cutler Rd and the C-100 canal (south of Deering Estate at ~173 St.), there was a single Horned Grebe towards the southeast in the direction of Boca Chita Key. The Grebe was pretty far out, so a scope is a must. A good scope, unlike mine, is preferable.
