Lehigh Acres location is Harnes Marsh, a stormwater management basin. It is not too difficult to get to if you have specific directions. Lee Blvd to Sunshine Blvd N. After a few miles road bends to right and crosses creek. Then left on W 31st St. Immediate right onto Ruth Ave. Then left on W. 38th St to end. We visited on January 27 and saw at least 20 snail kites as well as rich assortment of waders and all usual warblers. Waders and kites flew out from roost about twenty minutes after dawn. Right now this may be best location for taking photos of kites.
