I went to try and get a photo of the Barred Owl I saw the other day. I parked my van and used it as a blind, focused my camera and set it to be ready when the Owl perched on the tree I found it on the other day.
While waiting I saw several Barn Owls and then I saw a couple of Lesser Nighthawks flying over the field. I had my video camera with me and took a little footage of them flying using night vision settings.
I waited 2 hours for the owl to perch, but only saw one make a pass at the perch. Maybe next time....
