birding Boyton Beach area Sunday (Wakodahatchee and Green Cay) and Monday(Yamato Scrub).
The most interesting bird may have been a silent Empidinax seen at Yamato Scrub (near the first foot bridge) this morning. I didn't get a great look at it, as I was more interested in some local special. I assumed it was an Acadian with its largish size and yellow belly. I didn't realize until later it was out of season.
Other birds of interest at Wakodahatchee: Purple Gallinule, Sora, Monk Parakeets
Green Cay: Wood Stork, Kingfisher, Cooper's Hawk, Limpkin
Yamoto Scub: Least Grebe, Monk Parakeets, Pine Warblers (flock of 8 to 10), Prairie Warbler, C. Yellowthroat, both Yellowlegs, Wood Stork also a 3'+ iguna
