A morning visit to Boynton Beach inlet produced a good showing on Ruddy Turnstones, sanderlings, and Royal terns. The birds are all on the beach and in among the stone breakers. Flat ocean, calm winds, and cold temperature made for a good photo shoot. The birds are very approachable. Yellowtail snappers were being caught in prodigious numbers fairly close in. Gulls were laughing, and ring billed. Pelicans were all brown.
