After getting Screech Owl in my yard, I met Trey at the Coe Visitor Center at 5:45. We later birded on and off with Robin Diaz, Angel & Mariel, Mark Berney, Bonnie Ponwith, Judd Patterson, and briefly with the entire TAS walk at Lucky Hammock. Birding was rather slow, but some good birds made for a very enjoyable morning. Trey had to leave around 9:30, and I continued until about 12:00. Here are the highlights with locations:

-Canada Goose (Lucky Hammock)
-American Bittern (Anhinga Trail, just before the boardwalk)
-White-tailed Kite (perched way out west of Research Rd looking from near the last turn to the missile base)
-Snail Kite (between gate 15 and the mound perched to the left)
-Short-eared Owl (Research Rd before turn to missile site; looking west, ~6:50)
-Barn Owl (same time and location, but much closer)
-Eastern Screech Owl (my yard, but made for a 4 owl day)
-Barred Owl (perched on building in missile site, same time as Barn and Short-eared were seen)
-Western Kingbird (312 St. and 217 Ave.)
-Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (at least 5 or 6 spectacular adults at 312 St; on the fence and wires)
