Shiny Cowbirds

I did some south Dade birding this morning. There were both male and female Shiny Cowbirds along SW 212th Ave., just north of SR-9336. The cowbirds were the only unexpected birds I found this morning (of 50 species).

I also counted 11 Burrowing Owls from 10 burrows at Kendall-Tamiami Airport (0-2 per burrow).
