Folks, it's that time of year again for the South Dade Birding trip. This year I'm hoping to break my back record back in /03, 107. Heck, I'm shooting for 110 species and I need all the help I can get. So it's up to YOU, fellow birders, to help me in what promises to be the most exciting birding trip this year!!! Sure it's not the North Florida trip, but the cast of characters in this trip more than makes up for frigid weather and northern birds. You'll meet people like "Chicken Little" Toe who will bring you down in the dumps as he constantly talks about climate change and the lack of cold weather. People like Trey "The Hit Man" Mitchell who now carries a gun into our National Parks. His motto is: "Hey if I can't shoot it with my camera..." Just kidding on that last bit folks. The "first couple" of birding Angel and Mariel. Some new, some old, and some REALLY old faces will also join us. And then there's me...need I say more. Folks, we'll getcha a Tropical Kingbird, a Canada Goose, and several other goodies - don't miss out! We meet at the BK on US1 immediately south of 344 st at 7 AM sharp! Remember: 110 species!
