First of all Happy New Year everyone!
Went birding at Indian Hammocks this morning (11:30) for only a half an hour. Things were very quiet but did have an adult Bald Eagle soaring overhead, my first ever in Kendall. (Last month did see two of them soaring over the lake east of 826 near Bird Rd.) Also had Merlin, Kestrel, Blue Jay, RB Hummingbirds and Turkey Vultures.
