I saw the Ruddies and Scaup a couple weeks ago and found the Ruddies in the far SE corner, while the Scaup moved around in the open water. The view to this SE corner is blocked by tall grasses/reeds, but if you hang out on the grassy bank near the tennis courts, and stay still and quiet, the Ruddies will visit close by. Watch out for aggressive Coot, who make it really obvious that they are being fed!
