Canada Goose at Lucky Hammock

I visited Lucky Hammock this morning and found a Canada Goose hanging out with six Sandhill Cranes in the plowed (but not yet planted) fields between the hammock and the NP. It was a very small CAGO, for what that's worth.

BTW, on Christmas Eve, I found a White-tailed Kite on Research Road in the park, observed far to the west eating a frog (the kite, not me) from the second bend near the missile base. I was out there again today, and couldn't find the kite again. There were many panther tracks in the mud near the first left-hand bend in the road.
