I participated in the Biscayne National Park CBC last Friday. My group worked the east side of the keys, and we saw two Brown Boobies in flight! There were several Magnificent Frigatebirds that always seem like a heck of a CBC bird to a Kansan such as myself. Nothing else highly unusual, but here's a taste of some of the other birds that stick out in my mind:

Offshore
Reddish, Snowy, and Great Egret
Tricolored, Little Blue, Yellow-crowned Night, Great Blue, and "Great White" Heron
Sanderling
Least Sandpiper
Ruddy Turnstone
Black-bellied Plover
Osprey
Herring Gull
Lots of Double-crested Cormorant, Laughing Gull, Ring-billed Gull Royal Tern, and Brown Pelican

Near Visitor Center
Red-breasted Merganser
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Great-crested Flycatcher
Anhinga - 1 every year seems to enjoy saltwater!
