Birding this morning at the cemetery/field next to Indian Hammocks produced what could only have been a La Sagra's. Life bird for me. It was on a flowering orchid tree which had lots of other bird activity. I was actually focusing on a Blue-Headed Vireo when it perched right behind it. I am very familiar with Great and Brown Crested Flycatchers. It was smaller and slimmer looking than either of them. The head was not as large, almost flat looking, but definitely a Myiarchus. It was not an Eastern Phoebe (which I saw a couple of minutes later). Below was almost white, with a slight hint of creamy yellow. Tail was hardly rufous. Overall impression: a small myiarchus, longer than phoebe, much paler than Great/Brown Crested. I have never seen the ashy-throated flycatcher, but size and lack of reddish on tail eliminates it for me.
Also saw the following in the same area:
Adult Red-Tailed Hawk
Many Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers and Yellow-Rumped Warblers
Prairie Warbler
Blue-Headed Vireo
Phoebe
Ruby-Throated Hummingbird
