A large (16 in.) chocolate brown Hawk-like bird was feeding in a tree in Kendall (117 Ave. and SW 112 St.) It had captured its prey near the tennis court there and was being watched/bothered by a smaller Hawk...looked like a Cooper's. The bird had little if any light markings on its chest, and had a prominent dark curved beak. It had a thick body and was almost twice the body size of the Cooper's. Can anyone ID this bird, or point me in the right direction? I have a terrible Cell phone photo I can EMail if you like. Thanks
