On October 9, 2008 I was doing some research dives and there were huge storms all around. Miami-Dade was under a flood advisory. There was so much lightning, darkness and swells that we ran over to Fowey Rocks light to at least be near some structure. I was thrilled to see not one, or six, but close to three dozen brown boobies on the light, as well as a peregrine. This photo only shows about 18 of them.
