Yellow Warbler and Western Kingbird at Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

Found by a great group that went out for the early bird walk around the Marsh Trail on Saturday.

Yellow warbler was in a group of warblers across the canal West of the marsh trail, in a nice group of willow, strangler fig and others. This is the NE corner of impoundment C-2a. See the map at http://www.fws.gov/loxahatchee/Visitor/

Western Kingbird was in the SE section of the Marsh Trail impoundment (C-8). He was flycatching from a willow snag we could see in the impoundment standing on the South edge of the marsh trail looking to the north.

This is a fee area. $5 per car or a duck stamp or a pass. Walks are being conducted every Saturday and Wednesday mornings at 0730am. Refuge is currently open 4am to 7pm
