Someone sent me an email and said that he thinks the English name for this tree is Long John aka Antwood aka Mulato. The Latin name is Triplaris surinamensis (synonym Triplaris weigeltiana). The tree is apparently dioecius and the photo I took of the tree is a female. Anyone feel differently?
