Took my son Oliver to Pelican Island this morning to start his life list. And we actually didn't even have to get out of the car to spot the flycatcher with a forked-tail. Not a bad first bird for your life list. I am not sure he will remeber it as he is only 4 months old but I know I will and I guess he will just have to take my word for it. We did eventually get out of the car and watched the bird hunt insects for some time and got great overhead looks at those beautiful long feathers!
