The Fork-tailed Flycatcher at Pelican Island NWR was cooperative today and offered good views in the morning and afternoon. About 3-4PM Carl Edwards and I were able to get within about 30 feet of the bird in a low tree for 15 minutes of uninterupted photos.
Meanwhile, there are two Ross' Geese at Merritt Island NWR.
They are at stop #8 and very near the road (which has been nicely graded)in the company of a Greater Snow for comparison.
Eurasian Wigeon has been reported, but I couldn't find it in the scores of Baldpates. There are more ducks that I have ever seen at MINWR. Indeed, if they were stones, you could walk, or jump across the impoundments on them. One added treat, was a full-plumaged, adult blue phase Snow Goose near stop #2.
Finally, there is a Buff-bellied Hummingbird at Mims, details on Birdbrains, etc.
