Hello. I arrived around 7:30 this morning at Pelican Island NWR, to find Andy Bankert, Karl (?), et al, who told me that Karl had relocated the Fork-tailed Flycatcher earlier by the parking lot area, but it had not been seen for awhile. Around 8:00 a.m., Andy relocated the bird in the field northwest of the parking lot. From 8:00 10:30 a.m., the bird was foraging & perching primarily in this field; though sometimes it would disappear and then later briefly show up again near the parking lot oaks/palms. The bird put on quite a show flying overhead and giving great views One very happy birder, John
